COVID-19 DELIVERY UPDATE

Wick & Willow will remain open during the national lockdown.

To limit trips out of the house, all orders will be posted or delivered locally on Tuesdays and Fridays only. Please bear in mind when ordering that the turnaround time for your order to be dispatched is up to 5 working days - for instance, if you order on a Thursday your order may not be dispatched until the following Tuesday.

Orders are posted via Royal Mail 2nd Class. Please note that this is not a tracked service, and there may be some delays during the lockdown due to a higher volume of parcels in the system.

Delivery is free to SG15 and SG5 4** postcodes. All deliveries will follow Covid-safe guidelines, with the items either being posted through the letterbox, or we will place them on the doorstep and retreat to a safe distance while you retrieve them. In the event that you are not home when delivery is attempted, we will re-deliver at another time - your order will never be left outside or with a neighbour unless we are specifically instructed.

What are wax melts?

Wax melts are pieces of scented wax, which are melted in the well of a tealight or electric burner. Like a candle - but without the wick - they produce a stronger, more long lasting scent which fills the room.

How do I use wax melts?

Firstly, remove all packaging from your melts, break a piece off your bar or clamshell, or place one or two flowers in the well of your burner - for best results we recommend using a tealight burner. Light your tealight, sit back and enjoy the aroma!

Always use an unscented tealight, and only use with a maximum of a 4-hour tealight. The large 8-hour tealights are NOT suitable for use with wax melts as they pose a safety risk.

Check your burner regularly for signs of damage, and discontinue use if cracks or chips appear.

I want to change scents, what's the best way to do this?

Allow your wax to set, and light your tealight for 30-60 seconds. The wax should easily slide out and can be stored for re-use if fragrance remains, or otherwise disposed of. Any wax residue in the burner can be cleaned with kitchen roll or cotton wool.

How long should my wax melts last?

Each piece should provide fragrance for at least 8 hours.

What type of burner is best?

For best scent throw, a tealight burner is recommended. Electric burners can also be used, but the scent may not be as strong. Wick & Willow melts are not recommended for use with Scentsy burners.
